This study is aimed at understanding the existing institutional and operational landscape of KVKs, identifying key challenges and opportunities, and suggesting measures to enhance their effectiveness and outreach in alignment with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. With BAIF’s extensive grassroots experience in agriculture extension, technology dissemination, farmer capacity building and rural livelihoods, along with its long standing association with ICAR and experience of operating the BAIF-KVK in Gujarat, this recognition is an opportunity for BAIF to share its valuable field-level perspectives and institutional experience in this initiative.
