Learning is a process and not an action.
At BAIF, we are taking steps to make e-learning an important activity for internal and external capacity building. e-learning has completely transformed the way in which training is imparted. Unlike traditional chalk and board method of teaching, e-learning offers many advantages such as content development by domain experts who are not able to deliver lectures physically at every location; trainees are not required to travel and incur expenditure on travel and stay for the training program;, scalability, reduced costs and effectiveness.

Trainings for External Audience
At the present juncture, dissemination of best practices and package of practices for farming and allied sectors can be identified as one pathway towards nurturing sustainable rural livelihoods. Such training will be able to save on farm costs or earnings out of sale from products/services, or both. e-learning will provide participants the ability to accommodate learning in their lifestyles and effectively allow even the remotest person to take up training.
BAIF has thus conceived a programme for promotion of such farm based entrepreneurial and allied online training.
