Based on this approach, BAIF implemented a Climate Smart Village Programme in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh which demonstrated first-time access to climate-smart agricultural technologies by more than 11,000 vulnerable families from 75 villages improving their crop productivity and income, increasing the nutrient use efficiency by 140% and reducing carbon emission by 55%.
