BAIF Development Research Foundation, Pune, in collaboration with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), is thrilled to invite students from esteemed institutions to participate in the Circular Bio-Economy Innovation Challenge on October 7th & 8th, 2024, in Pune. This challenge is organized under the Circular Bio-Economy Innovation Hub, established through the One CGIAR Nature Positive Solutions initiative.

Our goal is to encourage young innovators to showcase their ground breaking ideas around the concept of circularity. Participants will gain exposure to evolving technologies and innovations, interact with global experts at our boot camp, and compete for exciting prizes. The challenge consists of two rounds, with the top five participants or teams earning a chance to attend the exclusive two-day boot camp in Pune.

Eligibility

This Challenge is open to:

• Students regardless of their subject background who are currently pursuing their Graduation or Post-graduation from any university registered in India

How to Participate

• Individuals or Team (Maximum of 4 members) can register
*Female students are highly encouraged to participate
• Develop your innovative solution for the circularity of organic waste
• Submit your innovative solution to the Challenge along with the registration form (register here)

• Get a chance to secure a spot among the top 5 teams
• The selected top 5 teams get a chance to participate in a 2-day residential boot camp, jointly organized by BAIF and IWMI and win exciting prizes

• Certificate of Participation: Every participant will receive an official certificate recognizing   their contribution and involvement in the challenge.
• Exclusive Boot Camp Access: The top 5 teams will earn the opportunity to attend an  intensive 2-day boot camp, where they can interact with leading thematic experts and innovators.
• Exciting Cash Prizes: The best 5 innovative solution will be rewarded with impressive cash prizes.
