Jan 17-21, 2023: Milubhai Thakrya, Senior Programme Operator, BAIF, Kaprada, has been associated with the Gujarat Tribal Development Programme in general since last 27 years and holistic village development programme in particular. Milubhai was felicitated by ICAR-Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research and Indian Society of Oilseeds Research at the International Conference on Vegetable Oils (ICVO 2023) held in Hyderabad from January 17-21 for his significant contribution to the popularisation of Niger oilseed crop among tribal families. Milubhai, was nominated by Niger Research Station, Vanarasi, for his committed effort to motivate the tribal farmers of Kaprada and Dharampur regions of Valsad district to adopt improved cultivation practices of Gujarat Niger-3 variety. The BAIF family is proud of him and his achievements.
