Mr. Waman Kulkarni is Chief Thematic Programme Executive for Natural Resource Management and Climate Action Programmes at BAIF Development Research Foundation in India.

Mr. Kulkarni has more than 22 years of experience in Natural Resources Management especially in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of watershed Management, livelihood development and water-centric development programmes in different parts of India. He has been associated with capacity building and training programmes organized for various stakeholders and NGO partners in NRM and has played a key role in liasoining with Government agencies, NABARD and CSR partners.

He has been involved in providing thematic support, monitoring of NRM and Climate Action programmes for South and North regions covering 6 states of India for visibility, replicability and wider impact. He has also been involved in development new approaches and programmes, coordination, documentation, review of different NRM programmes along with training and capacity building of implementing teams in BAIF.

Mr. Kulkarni is an Agriculture Engineer with specialization in Agriculture Extension from Marathwada Agriculture University Parbhani, Maharashtra.
